Project Description

Situated in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, Kings Camp is open to Kruger National Park. This is a unique sanctuary where you can experience an authentic African safari in refined luxury. Naturally, the reserve is a wildlife haven boasting a diversity of animal life, including the “Big Five” and the famed white lion.

Savour gracious hospitality from a bygone era, complete with all the elegant ambience one would expect. While there are six luxury suites, one Family Suite, and two Honeymoon Suites at Kings Camp, Waterbuck Private Camp offers a supremely secluded villa accommodating up to eight guests. Perfect for small groups and families.

Both camps reflect the charm and romance of a colonial past and provide special places to soak up the tranquility of South Africa. You are invited to make memories that will last a lifetime.

The primary objective of The Timbavati Foundation is to provide funding for educational, training and sustainability programmes for underprivileged communities in the Greater Hoedspruit area. Currently the Foundation is active in the Timbavati Bush School, as well as outreach programmes that involve 29 high schools and a growing number of primary schools. To ensure this work continues towards a brighter future, guests are asked to donate R10 per person per day to the Timbavati Foundation during their stay.
